The building that The Venue at The Bakery Building calls home is a place of historic distinction. Built in 1926 by beloved “Dad” and “Mother Matt” Mattingly, the building was lauded as a shining example of a modern bakery and continued to bake wholesome goodness for the Hub City throughout the glory years of the 20th Century.
Embedded in the brick and steel of this Downtown Hattiesburg landmark is the timeless integrity of an indomitable character that continually shines as a modern classic. Or, to put it another way, The Venue at The Bakery Building is the best thing since sliced bread!

Rental Periods
All rental periods include access to all of our luxurious spaces and all the amenities we have to offer. This is your big moment, and we hold nothing back. Contact us now to inquire about your special date or to book a tour!
Monday–Thursday
Time periods offered are as few as 4 hours up to all day (16 hours) or multi-day.
Friday & Sunday
The weekend is here; let’s get the party started. On Fridays and Sundays we offer 2 rental periods: 8-hours or 16-hours.
Saturday
Our most popular day, Saturday rentals are all-day (16-hours) only. It’s your special day. Enjoy it to the fullest!
Multi-day rentals are offered, too—and at special rates.
